The job role is essentially as a CPM Consultant: T-SQL, database design/implementation, reporting/financial systems.

Description
This is a challenging and fulfilling entry to intermediate level position for recent graduates and professionals with a few years of work experience. As a consultant you will be exposed to a variety of technologies and responsibilities, with a potential for significant growth and advancement. You will play a key role on cross-functional teams where you will expand your skill set and gain valuable and up-to-date experience within a client-facing software consulting role.
Scope of Role
Execute project deliverables within allotted time and based on requirements
Maintain and improve technical and business skill set
Work in a supportive manner with project team members
Job Responsibilities
Consulting (Implementation)
Assist with installing and configuring software
Assist with building relational and OLAP databases, and writing and testing calculations
Extract, transform and load data into both OLAP and relational databases
Verify data loaded into OLAP and relational databases
Build and test templates and reports
Document and communicate project status regularly to the Project Lead
Client Relations
Resolve customer issues in a timely and responsive manner
Escalate customer issues that are unresolved to the Project Team Lead
Build and foster strong client relationships during the implementation; gaining credibility and trust
Assist other departments on as needed basis including performing software quality assurance and product support tasks
Qualifications & Skills
Higher education in Computer Science, Engineering or Business discipline or equivalent experience
Experience in building relational databases
Ability to write basic programming code to facilitate calculations and reporting
Ability to create complex formulas, macros and sophisticated formatting in Microsoft Excel
Ability to effectively communicate in English both written and oral
Strong problem solving ability
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Must have a good understanding of Financial Reporting Concepts
Understanding of basic accounting principles, terms and processes will be an asset
Experience with budgeting and financial consolidation considered an asset.
Experience in building and using OLAP databases considered an asset.
Other Requirements
Willingness and legal ability (required documentation) to immediately travel and work across the UK and Europe (at least 30% of time)
