Politics of Thought

Politics of the mind is politics of the heart
And politics of the heart is all about having passion
And passion is what breeds this politics
It exists as the heart is torn in two
Between what is ultimately good
And what is ultimately bad
Between an option of righteousness
And an option of anarchy
And its end result is a soul confused
Confused at the thought that it is capable
Capable of two extremes which are extreme in character
And what does that say about the soul’s character
What? That there is ying and yang?
What? That there is good and bad in everyone?
What? That I don’t know myself?
Or that I am yet to experience the richness of life
Which will lead to a depletion of one extreme?
And lead me to a path of reigning in emotions
Without which I would not even be able to write this.
And so for me that is instantly dismissed
Just as I am for having no form or technique.
So does that make what I have to say less powerful?
Are you telling me it makes me less qualified?
Well, what qualification do you need in order to feel?
Feel; like a human and be able to express that feeling?
I’ll tell you what qualification you need.
You need to have heart and you need to have heart with politics.
Without politics, that is, the tearing of the heart,
There is no passion and so you will never feel.
I feel like I repeat myself; that I go round and round,
Like a circle my thoughts come around 360.
I have no beginning and I have no end
What I have is thought and that is my weapon
That I use against this world which tries to tell me how to think.

(I shouldn't be here on my 1st day at work...!) but this is amazing Mabrur.
You're almost getting me to enjoy reading poetry!
Interesting use of the word "politics".
