Here is my website, let me know what you think. I had to create it myself because the person who said would do it for me never managed to get round to doing it (you know who you are). I spent a day going through some tutorials and created two sites (if you need a job doing then ..........as the saying goes). One site is for my business but I have some issues with the domain so I have embedded at the bottom of my site until I resolve it, I'm still learning how it all works. As I learn more about creating websites I will continue to redesign it.

anyway, let me know what you guys and girls think.

Nice design. From the looks of it, its obvious your more into graphics then web :D Some great pics you got there.

Also, i don't know what kind of problem you have that takes a month to resolve. I can help you in that regard if you want.

Abdul

Love the website :)

Its so raw and suits your work very well. You know what i feel about your illustration already :)

I look forward to seeing you make some noise with yoru talent

I'm glad mooktakim and you have cyber met.

Mooktakim, Abdul is the person behind the first ever trailor for our documentary and has been around and involved in restlessbeings from the start. Abdul, meet Mooktakim who is in the process of making our new website and has kindly donated his time and energy on us (*thanku)

Mooktakim, i think our meeting was successful yesterday and yes, we will discuss further on sunday - but i know you. me and mabrur were struggling in terms of the creative side of things etc... so, Mabrur contacted Abdul last night and maybe the four of us can have a meeting next week sometime to discuss a few things. With Abdul's creative flair and your obviously amzing website infasturucte capabilities, we can meet both the design and functionality elements we want to project in the new restlessbeings website. :)

We will discuss meeting and further over the phone tomorrow night or over the weekend.

That’s for your kind words everyone.

My name field is animation. And the technical issue I have is with the domain transfer. I registered with one company and saw another company with a promotion on web hosting. According to the regulations of ICANN can a transfer only be approved after 60 days from the initial registration so I have to wait another month until www.digitalimagecorrection.com is ready.

Love the website Abdul Hye - and your artwork is very impressive.
But what I'm really keen on are your photos - they are quite amazing. It you dont mind my asking, what camera did you use to take these shots?

firstly let me correct myself. My main field is animation not as I have written “name field is animation”.

I use an olympus e410 (it's a DSLR) to take most of the pictures. If you click on the flickr logo on my about me page then you will be taken to my flickr page. from there if you click on the image and on the bottom right hand side you can click on the “More properties” and it will show you the metadata, the settings of the camera.

I bought the camera with the money from my work placement. It was within my price range. But I'd recommend a canon or nikon because they have better lens and the lens are cheaper as well.

I'd recommend you learn a bit of photoshop because you can adjust the levels and fix aspects of the picture.

check out the before and after pictures. I fixed it all in photoshop.

hope this helps.

Oh that is excellent! Thank you Abdul. :)
I actually own an Olympus SP 51OUZ and it gives me some great outdoor shots - but when I try to so indoor ones or where there's no natural light the image quality reduces significantly. Got any suggestions for me?

This is where an DSLR excels.

I took my camera to the school of thought but the light levels were too low so I didn't take any pictures.

A tripod would really help. Some tripods can be very expensive. I bought mine for £15. It does the same jobs. Don't get conned into buying an expensive tripod. In low light the camera needs a longer exposure (the shutter has to be open for longer) and if you are holding it with your hands a tiny bit of movement will make the picture blurry.

I'd know about the settings of your camera. If you can then change the light setting to halogen or indoor light. usually it's on auto. And force the flash to fire. On mine if the camera is on auto and i'm taking indoor shots the camera is low to take pictures. After pressing the button it takes a few seconds because it has to think about the light conditions and judge. By setting its to force to fire the flash will tell the camera that the scene needs light.

hope this helps.

That is very helpful - thank you so much. And yes I did notice that the shutter speed is slower with indoor settings. AND with indoor light setting the pic quality is not so nice - it appears to be more grainy or pixelated. Will a tripod really make a difference? Has it worked well for you?
I'm going to have a play around with my camera today. Cheers!

The tripod will make the image sharper in low light conditions. On sunny days it won't make much difference. The grainy thing is called noise.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_noise

It happens when there isn't much light. What kind of photography do you do? I have a noise reduction function on my camera but the best thing to do is try to get more light or increase the exposure times.

For the specs on the internet i see that your camera can take pictures in camera RAW format. In which format are you saving your images on your camera? Jpeg or OK but RAW format is a larger and more flexibly to edit and alter the levels and exposure.

I think the next step for you is to start using photoshop. It will help you to improve you images.

the idea store has some courses starting in july.

I'm no professional at all but I like taking pictures of natural scenaries and just random stuff like a close-up of my kitten sleeping or something! lol.

At the moment all my pictures are saved as jpeg. How would I save it as RAW - do I have that option? (If its in the camera menu then I'm sure to find it.)
The link below is pics off a holiday - ignore the ppl in it and let me know what you think.

I've actually started to use Photoshop - amazing piece of tool; still a lot to learn but I have done a few photo restorations quite successfully using Photoshop. I got some of my basic lessons from here: http://www.planetphotoshop.com/category/tutorials
