Stop staring at the blank page before you

fill it with things you felt and knew

what did you do with your time today?

how many bad things did you make go away?

how many people did you help to smile?

or did you focus on all things bad and vile?

one bad thing ends, another will begin,

is is possible for you to ever win?

there's more to you than the eye can see,

patient and true is what you must be

you know you need to keep on fighting

cos eventually biterness will stop biting

you made a mistake; no point crying

just carry on trying and trying...
