Dear all,

A friend forwarded details of these job opportunities that have come up at Friends of The Citizens Foundation (FTCF), but it’s something I’m unable to help with. So I'm posting it on here as a few of you have mentioned how you hate your jobs!!!

Please forward to anybody who you know may be interested in applying. FTCF will pay salaries commensurate with the UK not-for-profit sector along with the flexibility in working arrangements to mirror the flexibility these roles demands from the candidates.

Interested candidates should apply by sending their CV with a covering letter to Mr. Tariq Hussain (Trustee) at tariq.hussain@ftcf.org.uk.

Here's the job specs for the 2 roles....

Having started in 1995, TCF now has 455 primary and secondary schools nationwide providing formal and holistic education to 55,000 underprivileged students – 50% girls (see www.thecitizensfoundation.org)

This is a busy role and one which requires an enthusiastic, hands-on person willing, passionate about the cause with meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills. The role is in a friendly central London office supporting the Head of Fundraising and the 2 London-based trustees.

Some of the key tasks are listed below:

- Office management to ensure the smooth running of the office
- Strong IT skills in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Boo-keeping skills sufficient to manage and monitor basic income, expenditure and budgets and to be able to liaise with our outsourced accounting function;

If you believe your skills fit this profile and the cause is one that motivates you, please send your CV together with a covering letter to Mr. Tariq Hussain - Trustee at tariq.hussain@ftcf.org.uk by no later than 20th June 2008.
