Right, the reason why I'm posting this is because I can't get the following songs outta my brain. I keep listening to it and have been doing so on repeat for the past couple of weeks. Dunno if it's to your taste, but hey, it has an 80s feel to it and makes you wanna have a lil' dance. Only seen them live once and it was on a bad sound day so they were quite shite, but I've now changed my mind. Two Doors Down and Young Love are both innocent sounding, albeit slightly cheesy love songs. The Mystery Jets are my guilty pleasure at the mo. Er, enjoy?

im at work so i cant listen to it now, but will give you my full review later, lol.

Ill tell you what i cant get out my system at the moment, its a song called hide and seek by imogen heap. i wanted to use it as intro music at the launch but was warned off it by fellow board members that it may be a little too dark. love the lyrics in this song.

i dont have a link to post it, but if you google imogen heap, you will find her music. her versionoof hallelujah is awesome too as is say goodnight and go.

Done!

Gotta love all the retro 80's stuff!

For some reason it reminds me of this song by Martin Solveig... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNPVFprwmVk

Hey Shan :)
I remember having a couple of Kate Nash's tracks in my head all the time - her lyrics are quite funny - especially We Get On and Merry Happy. She can sound classy if she wanted to.

Yo Nance,

Was never really into Kate Nash, however, will give the tracks a try. Mabrur - the peeps you mentioned, ain't heard any of their stuff, like, but will give it a listen.

Oh, and if there's anything anyone listens to this year, it should be MGMT (pronounced management) - definitely the best album so far this year and they kick ass in their live shows. Key tracks - Time to Pretend and Kids. they are indeed an acquired taste as well as a stroke of brilliance and genius.

lol! Nash's lyrics r funny.

But yeah Regina Spector or Emiliana Torrini are great thou I haven't much of Emiliana Torrini. I remember actually Imogen Heap did a track for the 1st Narnia movie 'Cant Take It In' and now I think Regina Spector is doing some tracks for the new Narnia thats coming out. Great choices! :D
